Eleven of the club’s members took part in the sixth of this year’s monthly kayaking trips to waterways in the southeast. The Wey Navigation trip finished with lunch at The Anchor, Pyrford.
Due to the strong stream on the river, the Autumn Long Distance Race and following Fish and Chip Supper will not take place on Sunday 29th September and has been postponed to Sunday 13th October.
Sailors at Wednesday evening’s race were delighted to see a seal heading downstream from the Turks pier, surfacing occasionally.
