Sailing and canoeing on the River Thames in Kingston
Once again Minima brushed off its tartans and sporrans for an evening of bagpipes, whisky, haggis, speeches and poetry rounded off with Scottish dancing.
Kayaking members of Minima made their June outing an eight and a half mile circular trip to the west of Oxford, taking in the Oxford Canal, the Duke’s Cut and the river Isis, a tributary of the Thames.
On Saturday 6th June 2026, Minima Yacht Club is taking part in the Big Paddle Cleanup.
On Monday May the 4th, Minima Yacht Club will host the May Merrie Long Distance Handicap Race. This is open to all dinghy classes. The course will be between Kingston and Hampton Court bridges. Start not before 2pm. The May Merrie Trophy will be awarded for the first boat overall on RYA PN handicap. The
