Hampton Court Half Marathon and 10k

Anyone planning to bring a boat to the dinghy park this weekend (22/23 March) should note the following:

There is a 10k run with 1,500 runners expected starting from 0900 on Saturday so there is no access by car to Barge Walk in the morning.

There is a half marathon with 5,000 runners with multiple starts from 0900 on Sunday, running along Barge Walk at the beginning and near the end of their course. There will be a watering station outside our boat park and a live music stage at the entrance to Barge Walk so this will be closed to vehicles until clearing up after this event is complete in the afternoon. If you are planning to bring a boat to compete in the Centenary Handicap it would be wise not to rely on access in time for this on Sunday.
