Long distance fish & chips: POSTPONED

Due to the strong stream on the river, the Autumn Long Distance Race and following Fish and Chip Supper will not take place on Sunday 29th September and has been postponed to Sunday 13th October.

The autumn Long Distance Race, course to be determined, is an Open event (£5 to enter) for the Kingston Trophy (first place) and Coronation Cup (first Minima boat), starting not before 2.00 pm. After the racing there will be a Fish & Chips supper, served at around 6.30 pm.

For the meal, some prices are DOWN from last year: All with chips. Large Cod is £12.00, small cod £10.50, Chicken breast £9.50 and Veggie Burger £8.50. We are getting medium portions of chips, to reduce waste (possibly waist too), and you may specify your preferred variety of peas.
